Long time no see....

Wow... Time flys when you busy!!!
Since last August ALOT has happened!!!
Wildfires swept through Bastrop..... That was a crazy time.
Then came Ashlyn's 1st Birthday!!!!

Then we went on our cruise!!! That was amazing!!!

My Sister-in-Law... Melissa!!!

My handsome Husband Jim!!!

Never-ending Summer....

It is soooooo HOT!!!
My hair is sweating......

Had training in Austin the last 3 days. The worst part of it was the drive!!!!
I was so traumatized, I HAD to take tomorrow off.... :)

Took a leap of faith, hopefully to make my work place a more enjoyable place to spend 8.5 hours a day!!
It may get a little uglier prior to the better part. But, myself a 2 co-workers did what is right. I must remember that. I can only put it in GOD'S hand and know he will deal the result.

On a great note, My girl's are Healthy and Happy!!! For that I am BLESSED!!! Ashlyn welcomed 2 more teeth this week and 2 more are promptly following. Meghen starts 1st grade in only 9 days... Thank Heaven for Jim's Dad. He bought Meghen her new school clothes and most of her school supplies!!! We will be making and delivering a handmade Thank You note first thing tomorrow morning!!! I hope he realizes how much we appreciate that.

72 more days until we leave on our cruise. I can't wait to experience new things with my family. My only reservation is not taking Ashlyn. She is so little and wouldn't remember anything. Next time little monkey, Mommy promises!!!

Another prayer may be answered with the visit from my Best Friend and Sister Soul-mate, Jennifer. I hope she can make it for Thanksgiving.....

Beginning of another week....

So much going on and so little time.....

Meghen starts 1st grade in 19 days!!!!!
I am so proud of her. I am going to start toteach her how to tie her shoes.
I had NO IDEA it would be so difficult to find and buy shoes with shoe strings....
Tried Walmart... No Luck.
Tried Beall's(local dept. store)... None in her size.
Went online.....Tried every web site I could imagine, and finally found a pair.... ON CLEARENCE!!!!!

Cruise is in 84 days!!!! Gotta get Passports, go clothes shopping and make my list of things to pack, so I don't forget anything....

I have to plan Ashlyn's 1st Birthday party.....All while maintaining a full time and a part time job!!!!

Just when I think I have no more to give... I think of my family.....

And who wouldn't wanna be me........... ;)

Hi, My name is Jennifer Dawn. (Prefer not to use my last name)
    * I have been married to Jim for nearly 8 years... He is a wonderful husband and an amazing father.
    *I am the proud mom To a Beautiful 6 year old, Meghen. We were blessed with her birth on January 12th, 2005. She was born on her due date all on her own. No induction or pitocin. She is happy and smart!!!! Keeps me guessing everyday!!! She starts 1st grade this year.
    *I am also proud mommy to Ashlyn. She is 9 months old and is growing way too fast!!! She joined our family on October 15th, 2010. (The day before Daddy's birthday) She is a healthy 22 pounds and 30 inches long already. She and her Sister take after their Daddy!!!! She has beautiful carribean blue eyes.
    *We are from Arizona, but moved to Texas in June 2007. I love it here. It is hot.... too hot sometimes!!!!
I am sorry to admit but I think we brought the drought to Texas.... I wish it weren't so... :(
